A. Pauline “Polly” Grace, 76, of Roaring Spring passed away Wednesday June 25, 2025. She was born Nov. 15, 1948 in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Roy E. Sr. and Anna R. (Miller) Jewell.
Surviving is her husband Roger Grace, daughters Anna Heidler and husband Ron and Lisa Karacz, all of Roaring Spring, granddaughter Melissa Heidler, and sisters Sandra Norris of Roaring Spring and Barbara Jewell of Martinsburg. She was preceded in death by brother Roy Edward Jewell, Jr. and sister Nancy Mobley.
Polly was a member of the Claysburg Church of the Brethren, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and assisted with church finances. She was a 1966 graduate of Central High School and received a B.S. in Accounting from Goldey Beacom College, Wilmington, DE. She retired as an accountant at Young, Oakes, and Brown and was also employed at the Village at Morrison Cove.
She was a founding member of the Claysburg Area Food Bank and a member of Tras-Dias. She enjoyed shopping and was known for the purple house with hot dogs on Halloween.
Friends will be received from 10:00 A.M. until the Noon funeral service on Monday June 30, 2025 at the Claysburg Church of the Brethren, 575 Bedford Street, Claysburg PA 16625.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Claysburg Area Food Bank.
