Barbara D. Schultz, 78, of New Paris, went home to be with the Lord, on Saturday May 29, 2021 at UPMC-Altoona. She was born December 2, 1942 in Kittanning, daughter of the late Veto and Sarabell (Anderson) Schultz.
Surviving are sisters Doris Ann Swast and Sharon Weaver-Shuman and husband Ken, a brother Jack Schultz and wife Paulette, a niece LaVonne, 8 nephews Wesley, Ralph, Dave, Nyle, Alan, Scott, Neal and Nathan and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Dale Schultz and wife Avonelle and Regis Schultz and wife Alice, brothers-in-law Frank Swast and David Weaver, a niece Lisa Swast-Reedy and a nephew Mark Schultz.
Barbara was a member of Community Bible Church, Osterburg. She was a 1960 graduate of Dayton High School and graduated from Salem Bible College. She was employed for many years as a K-2 teacher at Indiana Wesleyan School, Dixonville and New Bethlehem Christian School. She was an avid reader and loved children.
Friends will be received on Tuesday June 1, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until the 10:00 A.M. funeral service at Community Bible Church, 120 West Virginia Road, Osterburg, PA 16667, with Pastor Neal Weaver officiating. A service of committal will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday June 1, 2021 at Cochran Cemetery, Templeton.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Templeton Zion Wesleyan Methodist Church, 324 S. Clay St. Templeton, PA 16259.
