Charles Thomas Brown, 79, of Osterburg, passed away Saturday March 25, 2023 at UPMC-Altoona. He was born July 6, 1943, in Imler, son of the late Bruce G. and Katherine (Marshall) Brown. He married Carolyn Lee Mosser on September 2, 1967 in Imler.
Surviving is his wife of Osterburg, 3 daughters Pamela Miller and husband Richard and Angela Craig, both of Imler, and Leslie Weyant of Altoona, 3 grandchildren Ashley Lankey and husband Jordan, Brandon Weyant and girlfriend Emma, and Ryan Craig, 2 great grandsons Carter and Cooper Lankey, 2 brothers William and wife Darlene, and Bruce and wife Susan, both of Osterburg, and 2 sisters Carol Cessna and husband Don of Osterburg and Janet Rogers and husband Eugene of Imler. He was preceded in death by a sister Phyllis Brown.
Charles was a 1962 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School and retired as manager at Champion Homes, Claysburg. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Imler.
Charles enjoyed going to Potter County with his family and watching his grandkids ball games.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
