Curtis “Tim” A. Zembower

Curtis A. “Tim” Zembower, 89, of Claysburg, passed away Friday January 19, 2024 at The Village at Morrisons Cove. He was born August 6, 1934 in Claysburg, son of the late Randall C. and Pearl (Bailey) Zembower. He married Viola K. Musselman on October 6, 1951. She preceded him in death on December 14, 2023, ending a marriage of 72 years.

Surviving is a son Dennis A. (Patty) of Imler, a daughter Cherl L. Lee (Donnie) of Imler, grandchildren Courtney Deremer (Mike), Stacey Patterson (Travis) and Eric Lee, great grandchildren Lucas and Logan Mock, DeLaney Patterson and Trentin Deremer and sisters Olive Eicher and Connie Norris (Dan) both of Hollidaysburg. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers Roger “Punk”, Kermit “Cub” and King “Skip”Zembower.

Tim was a member of the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren, where he served as Deacon and Sunday School teacher, and was also active with the Men’s Prayer Breakfast and Camp Blue Diamond.

Curtis retired as a tank truck driver from Ashbridge Oil and volunteered at the Claysburg Food Bank.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed bowling and belonged to a league at Holiday Bowl.

Friends will be received on Tuesday January 23, 2024, from noon until the 2:00 P.M. funeral service at the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren, with Pastor Mark Wyland officiating. Interment at the Upper Claar Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren.
