David J. Brown

David J. Brown, 44, of Roaring Spring, passed away Saturday January 4, 2025 at UPMC-Altoona, following a three-year battle with cancer. He was born July 27, 1980, in Canton, OH, son of Mark A. Brown Sr. and Theresa M. Moreland.

Surviving are his parents, his wife and longtime companion Rebeka (Hammel) Brown, sons Elizick J.P. Brown and Zacheriah J.J. Hammel-Brown, three sons who were raised in the home Tyler Steele, Derrick Brick and Seth Hobson, and two brothers James D. Brown and Mark A. Brown Jr.

Dave was employed at Corle Building Systems, Inc. He worked to provide for his family, and when he wasn’t working, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling.

Friends will be received from 5-8 P.M. on Wednesday January 8, 2025 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the funeral home.
