Deborah A (Hoover) Downs

Deborah A. Downs, 67, of Altoona passed away Friday October 29, 2021 at UPMC-Altoona. She was born June 5, 1954 in Tyrone, daughter of the late James E. and the late Louise (Gummo) Hoover.

Surviving are a daughter Stacie (Downs) Claar (Cody) of Portage and a son Chris Downs (Kristen) of Altoona, grandchildren Shane, Donnie, Bailey, Rachel, and Addison, siblings Cecelia Orebaugh (Ray) of Winchester, VA, Matt Hoover (Liz) of Tyrone, Martha Phibbs (Chuck) of Ridgeview. SC, Rodney Hoover, Jamestown, KY, and Clayton Hoover of Pittsburgh, son-in-law Don Roudabush of Roaring Spring, and many friends. She was preceded in death by a son Jason P. Downs and a daughter April Roudabush

She was a 1972 graduate of Tyrone High School and earned an associate degree as an LPN. She was a homemaker and enjoyed auctions, buying and selling at flea markets, and spending time with her grandchildren.
