Dolores E. Benton

Dolores E. Benton, 90, of Claysburg, passed away Monday November 18, 2024 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. She was born July 28, 1934 in Queen, daughter of the late Russell and Verna (McClellan) Feathers.

Surviving is a daughter Carol Harr and husband George of Claysburg, a son Brian Benton and wife Sheila of Central City, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a ½ sister Susahn Hainsey.

She was preceded in death by a son Jay Allen Benton Jr., a daughter Brenda Valet, a ½ brother Alan Feathers, step mother Marie Feathers, and her former husband Jay Allen Feathers Sr.

Dolores was a 1953 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Queen United Methodist Church.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
