Donald Robert Holland Sr.

Donald Robert Holland Sr. passed away November 29, 2025. He was born on October 30, 1966, in Altoona PA son of the late Robert Holland and Jerrlynn Calzaferri. On February 14, 2000, he married Tracey A. Mentzer at the Claysburg Church of the Brethren.

Surviving is his wife, Tracey A Holland, a son Donald Robert Holland Jr, and wife Kylie, grandson Camden Allen Holland, granddaughter Delilah Redinger and sisters Becky Snyder, and Gina Kunitisky.

Donald was a 1984 graduate of Altoona High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1985-1988.

Donnie loved fishing, hunting, racing, and spending time with his son, grandson, and granddaughter. He was a member of the Newburg Fire Company, and the Claysburg Area Volunteer Fire Department since 1995, attended the Claysburg Church of the Brethren and was a member of Smokey Run Rod & Gun Club.

Friends will be received on Tuesday December 2, 2025, from noon until the 2:00 P.M. funeral service at Claysburg Church of the Brethren, with pastor Daryl Cyrus. Interment at Upper Claar Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be given to the funeral home or to the family to help with expenses.
