Donald “Donnie” R. Knisely

Donald “Donnie” R. Knisely, 80, of Claysburg, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Hilltop Healthcare and Rehab, Altoona. He was born on January 31, 1946, in Altoona, son of the late Curtis and Goldie (Bush) Knisely. He married Linda Sisk on July 25, 1966, in Ellerslie, Maryland.

Surviving are his wife Linda, and his sister Peggy Berkhimer. He was preceded in death by his son Travis, and daughter Dawn. 

Donnie was a 1964 graduate of Greenfield Kimmel High School and retired after 40 years of service from Champion Homes. 

He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan, enjoyed camping, music, and dancing. 

Friends will be received from 10 A.M. until the 1:00 P.M. Funeral Service on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg with Evangelist Kenny Ashley officiating. Interment at Holsinger Cemetery, Bakers Summit.
