Donna L. McIntyre, 76, a resident of Homewood Living, Martinsburg, formerly of Duncansville, passed away Thursday May 21, 2026, at the home. She was born August 20, 1949, in Altoona, daughter of the late Frank and Iva (Holland) Hoover. She married Gary McIntyre on June 20, 1970, at Leamersville Grace Brethren Church.
Surviving is her husband, Gary, sister-in-law Shirley McIntyre, nephews Michael and Mark McIntyre and close friends Joyce Wilson and Elizabeth Mackall. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Dennis, her in-laws Everett and Mabel McIntyre, brother-in-law Don McIntyre, nephew Shaun McIntyre and a special cousin Gary K. Johnson.
Donna was a 1967 graduate of Central High School. She worked at First Commonwealth Bank and its predecessor Central Bank for 40 years as a Deposit Operations Supervisor.
She was a member of Leamersville Grace Brethren Church, where she served as Organist/Pianist for over 30 years. She more recently attended Christ Lutheran Church and Grace United Church of Christ, both in Claysburg.
Donna enjoyed music, working outdoors and playing with her dog, Raven.
Friends will be received from 4-7 P.M. on Tuesday May 26, 2026, at the Harry E. Miller Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 810 Bedford Street, Claysburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday May 27, 2026, at the funeral home, with Pastor Gary Blankley officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
