Dorothy “Jane” Shaw

Dorothy “Jane” Shaw, 88, of East Freedom, passed away Monday July 22, 2024 at The Village at Morrisons Cove. She was born November 28, 1935 in Bloomfield Township, daughter of the late Richard O, and Mildred A. (Kagarise) Fisher. She married Edgar R. “Jack” Shaw Jr. on April 7, 1955 in Winchester, VA. He preceded her in death on December 4, 2014.

Surviving is a daughter Jackie Seiler and husband Todd, a son Jeremy Shaw, two grandsons Richard R. Seiler and Andrew J. (Rachel) Seiler, three great grandchildren Eliza, Wyatt and Quinn Seiler, a sister Nancy Kay Fisher, and a brother Paul Fisher. She was preceded in death by an infant sister Carrie Wilmagene Fisher and a brother John Fisher.

Jane was a member of Holsinger Church of the Brethren, She was a 1953 graduate of Morrisons Cove High School.

Jane was a homemaker and enjoyed word seek puzzles, watching game shows and cooking shows on TV, and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
