Douglas R. Brown, 63, of Sproul, passed away Thursday March 26, 2026, at UPMC-Altoona. He was born on April 27, 1962, in Roaring Spring, to Ruth (Way) Brown, and the late Homer Brown.
Surviving is his wife Cheri E. Morgan, children Douglas, Trista (Matt), Ashley (Timothy), Cody, Cameron and Conner (Emily), 7 grandchildren, a great granddaughter on the way, sisters Linda Kaye Claycomb (Jeff), Cathy Burkett (Dave) and brother Earl (Amanda), his real good friend Dave Lingenfelter and many nieces and nephews.
Doug was a member of Journey Church, Hollidaysburg. He attended Claysburg-Kimmel High School and retired as a fuel delivery driver from Barnes Petroleum after 15 years of service.
Doug was a member of Mosquito Creek, Cresson and Smokey Run Sportsman’s Clubs. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, especially coyotes, riding side by side and four wheelers, camping and just being outdoors. He loved taking care of Cameron and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
Friends will be received, from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday March 31, 2026, at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday April 1, 2026, at the funeral home with Pastor Jeremiah Baker officiating. Interment at Sproul Cemetery.
