Edith E. Dodson

Edith E. Dodson, 87, of Claysburg, passed away Wednesday February 28, 2024 at home. She was born December 20, 1936 in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late William and Freda (VanOrman) Imler.

Surviving are three children Dorothy Musselman, Kathy Garrett and Jay Imler, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and a brother Larry Ickes. She was preceded in death by her longtime companion Carl Settle, brother William Leroy Imler, sister Hellen Imler and great granddaughter Kylie.

Edith was employed at Loungeray, Hollidaysburg, Cannondale, Bedford and, also owned and operated a tack shop in Curryville.

She was a member of the American Legion, Hollidaysburg and the VFW Post, Johnstown.

Edith enjoyed walking, dancing, horseback riding, raising chickens and going to the Senior Center in East Freedom.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
