Elwayne Stombaugh

Elwayne Stombaugh, 86, of Blue Knob, passed away Friday June 28, 2024 at home. He was born November 7, 1937 in Blue Knob, son of the late Clair and Thelma (Ritchey) Stombaugh. He married Sandra Reifsteck on July 11, 1964 and she preceded him in death on May 19, 2017.

Surviving are three sons, Tim (Susie) in Kentucky, Tobin (Sheila) and Matthew (Rebekah) both of Blue Knob, and 4 grandchildren Nate, Andy, Nora and Josie. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Bruce and Melvin.

Elwayne attended the Puzzletown Road Bible Church. He was a 1955 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School and was lifelong farmer at the family farm in Blue Knob.

Friends will be received from 3-7 P.M. on Tuesday July 2, 2024 at the Leslie- Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg and from 10-11 A.M. Wednesday July 3, 2024 at the Puzzletown Road Bible Church.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 3, 2024  at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Puzzletown Road Bible Church with Pastor Jon Gross officiating. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Blue Knob.
