Fred R. Hileman, 75, of Imler, passed away Friday July 2, 2021 at his home, with his family by his side. He was born July 26, 1945 in Queen, son of the late Robert M. and Mary (Claar) Hileman. On June 26, 1965 he married Cheryl Walter in Imler. They just celebrated 56 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl and daughters; Angie (Dennis) Mock, Kelly Corle and companion Mike Harrison, Tonya (Seth) Hobson, Kim (Brad) Dull and Mary (Brian) Welch and son-in-law Fred Corle, 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Robert C. (Doris) Hileman and 3 nieces. He was preceded in death by a sister Donna Jean.
Fred retired in 2006 from General Refractories, Sproul, with over 28 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and tinkering in his garage. He loved being with his family and grandkids.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday July 6, 2021 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday July 7, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastors Tim Guyer and Becky Clark officiating. Interment at Imler Valley Cemetery.
