Inez L. Daugherty, 59, passed away on January 20, 2025 in Claysburg. She was born on March 4, 1965, daughter of Wanda L. (Claycomb) Burke and the late Fred Burke. She married Larry W. Daugherty on May 21, 2009 and he preceded her in death on November 25, 2018.
Surviving is her mother, daughters Alicia L. Weyandt (Brian), Kayla M. Fink (Justin) and Brandy L. Brant, grandchildren Layla M. Helsel, Hayden E. Kline, Mason M. Moore, Bailey A. Fink, River N. Fink, and Khloe M. Weyandt, great granddaughter Oaklynn Helsel, sisters Sheila A. Dively and Greta A. Burke and brothers Don Weyandt, Roger Moses, and Joe Moses. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Inez was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. She was a caring and loving individual, deeply devoted to her family. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and daughter. Her love extended beyond her immediate family to include her many nieces and nephews, all of whom felt her warm, nurturing presence throughout their lives.
Beyond her family life, Inez was an active member of the Hollidaysburg Legion Auxiliary and the Legion Riders. Her passions included riding her motorcycle and owning fast muscle cars. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her daughters and grandchildren, creating lasting memories.
Inez’s life was marked by her spirited nature and her unwavering support and love for her family. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.
Friends will be received from 4:00 P.M. until the 7:00 P.M. funeral service, on Thursday January 23, 2025, at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg with Mrs. Patricia Kensinger officiating. Interment at Leamersville Riverview Cemetery.
