James R. Potts

James R. Potts, 62, of Hollidaysburg, passed away April 14, 2025, at home. He was born on August 7, 1962, in Altoona, son of the late Robert Potts and Judith Ann (McGeary) Potts. He married Kori Andrews on September 18, 1992.

Surviving are his wife, children James Daniel Potts, Amber Lynn Potts, Jonathan Kruz Potts, Nathan James Potts, and Jayne Krisan Potts, ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, siblings Robert Potts Jr., Corinda Thomas, Tammy Weigner, and Scott Potts. He was preceded in death by sons Kristopher James Potts, and Adam David Weigand.

He retired in 2015 as the owner and operator of Jim's Tire Shop and previously owned Mr. Paver.

Jim was an avid Steeles fan, enjoyed hunting, and spending time with his family.

Friends will be received on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 3:00 PM until the 6:00 PM funeral service at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, with Rev. Roland Cadle officiating.

Following the funeral service, a meal will be provided and held at the Phoenix Volunteer Fire Department, Hollidaysburg.
