Jan R. Corle

Jan R. Corle, 72, of Queen, passed away Tuesday April 8, 2025 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. She was born October 1, 1952 in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Mayberry Jr. and Gertrude Leoda (Snare) Hainsey. She married John A. Corle on May 15, 1971 in Claysburg.

Surviving is her husband, a daughter Andrea R. Corle, a brother Mayberry “Butch” Hainsey III and wife Carroll, a nephew Mayberry Kristian Hainsey and a niece Tessily Hainsey.

Jan was a 1970 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. She retired as a postal clerk in 2015 from the Claysburg Post Office and previously worked at the Queen Post Office. She also worked at News Printing, sealing mail trucks.

Jan loved animals, especially her dog. She prayed every night, and enjoyed NASCAR. Steeler and Penn State football, going on trips with her daughter and her Monte Carlos.

Friends will be received on from 2-6 P.M. on Sunday April 13, 2025 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday April 14, 2025 at the funeral home with Mr. Terry Hoenstine officiating. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery.
