Jody A. Walter

Jody A. Walter, 50, of Blue Knob, passed away Monday November 16, 2020 at UPMC-Altoona. He was born October 25, 1970 in Roaring Spring, son of William and Sally (Helsel) Walter. He married Helen K. Bookhamer on January 19, 1996.

Surviving are his wife, his parents, two sons Scotty and Dakota Walter, a brother William Walter Jr. and wife Lori, a sister Louann Dolinsky and husband Chris, father and mother in law, James and Sharon Bookhamer, brothers-in-law Jimmy, Terry, Russ and Marvin “Bub” and sisters-in-law Diane, Jamie and Sherri. He was preceded in death by a son Jody Jr.

Jody was a 1989 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. He was employed as a sauce maker in the cook room at DelGrosso Foods.

Jody enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing and doing household projects with his wife.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
