John A. Zerby

John A. Zerby, 76, of Imler, passed away Tuesday December 30, 2025 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was born January 5, 1949, in Roaring Spring, son of the late John and Jean (Kennedy) Zerby. He married Carol E. Knisely and she preceded him in death on July 7, 2012.

Surviving are 5 sisters Winnie Ritchey (Jeff), Tina Mock, Hazel Zerby, Bonnie Conley and Audra Zerby, a brother Jerry Zerby, numerous nieces and nephews, and his good friend Mark Ruby and his family. John was preceded in death by 2 brothers Bob and Terry Zerby and brother-in-law Ken Mock.

John retired as a machine operator from Cove Shoe Factory. He was a member of Three Valley Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed hunting and wood crafting.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
