Joyce A. Durbin

Joyce A. Durbin, 84, of Claysburg, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at UPMC – Altoona. She was born on September 20, 1941, in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Ray and Eudabelle (Dibert) Eicher. She married Clyde F. Durban on March 4, 1992, in Nashville, TN, and he passed away March 15, 2022. 

 
Surviving is a daughter Nadine Lane and husband Jim of Greensburg, a grandson Matt Valenti, two great grandchildren Mirabelle Justice and Timmy Lalor, and siblings Jane Eicher, and Claude Leroy Eicher.  She was preceded in death by a daughter Christine Wilkins and a granddaughter Lindsay Valenti, 2 sisters Eileen Eicher and Kay Burk. 

 
Joyce was a 1959 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School and attended Forbes Road Vo Tech Adult Night Classes. She was a licensed beautician and owned her shop in Claysburg since 1985. 

She enjoyed crocheting and puzzles.  

At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing, or services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Claysburg Volunteer Fire Company.
