Kenneth "Ken" P. Weyandt

Kenneth P. Weyandt, 70, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday April 18, 2023 at home. He was born September 20, 1952, in Roaring Spring, son of the late Earl and Dorothy (Allison) Weyandt.

Surviving is a daughter Stacie Bradford of Altoona, a son Bryan Weyandt of King, 6 grandchildren, Arianna, Madeline, Tanisha, Alexis, Aaliyah, and Shayla, a great granddaughter Lily, a sister Edna Gosnell, 6 brothers Arthur, Roger “Beans”, Melvin, Richard, Donald, and Robert Weyandt. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers an infant Ken, Thomas, and Ronald Weyandt.

Kenneth was a 1971 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. He retired from the Maintenance Department of the Altoona Blair County Airport in 2013 after 33 years of service. He was previously employed at Phillips 66, Altoona Shoe Factory, General Refractories and Bobby Weyandt’s produce and butcher shop. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his grandkids.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Thursday April 20, 2023 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday April 21, 2023 at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Bartholomew officiating. Interment at St. Mark’s Cemetery.
