Kenneth “Kenny” C. Musselman Jr., 81, of Garrett, PA, formerly of Claysburg, passed away at home on December 15, 2025. He was born on December 2, 1944, in Duncansville, PA, at his grandmother’s house. Kenny graduated from Greenfield Kimmel High School, Claysburg, in 1964.
He was the son of the late Kenneth C. Sr. and Idabelle (Teeter) Musselman.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Kathleen; his daughters, Lesley Kelner (Marc) of Langhorne, PA, and Wendy Zborovancik of Johnstown; and his son, Kenneth “Chip” Musselman III of Duncansville. He was blessed with six grandchildren — Amber (Jimmy), Jade (Shane), Ryan (Rosie), Melanie (Brandon), Nicholas (Tiffany), and Braden — and six great-grandchildren: Connor, McKenna, JR, Lucas, Charles, and Murphy Jo. He is also survived by his sister, Vickie Heck, of Lyons, GA.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Penny Lesher, and by his brothers James, David, and George “Rick” Musselman.
Kenny was a contractor by trade and owned his own business for many years; he was an especially skilled woodworker and mason. He was an avid Steelers and Ohio State fan. He enjoyed hunting and spent the last two weeks of his life out in the woods with his son. He was a league bowler for most of his life. During race season, he spent his weekends at Jennerstown Speedway. He loved talking to people and would strike up a conversation with anyone, even a complete stranger. He will be remembered for ending his texts, phone calls, and visits with “Love you! Later, gator!”
A memorial service will be held at Upper Claar Church in Claysburg, PA, on January 24, 2026, at 11 am.
