Lou Ann Reiter

Lou Ann Reiter, 52, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday December 7, 2021 at Penn Highlands-DuBois. She was born February 26, 1969 in Bellefonte, daughter of the late Samuel and Beverly Jean (Sprout) Bechdel. She married Jerry Reiter on December 30, 2003 in Centre Hall.

Surviving is her husband, five children Samuel Bechdel, Curt St. Clair, Floyd St. Clair, Kenny Reiter and Barry Reiter, four grandchildren Jazmine Bechdel, Arianna Richards, Aliyah Bechdel and Curtis St. Clair and eight siblings Bob Snyder, Melvin Bechdel, Terrie Bechdel, Allen Bechdel, Travis Bechdel, Tammy Ripka, Barbara Lutz and Brenda McGovern. She was preceded in death by a sister Susie McGovern.

Lou Ann was a member of Faith Heart Family Fellowship, Everett. She a member of Three Valley Sportsman’s Association and competed in firearm events. She was a homemaker and enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, macramé, crafting, bingo, camping, puppies and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Saturday December 18, 2021 from 2 P.M. until the 5:00 P.M. memorial service at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg with Rev. Cynthia Milburn officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.
