Margaret “Peggy” H. Helsel

Margaret H. “Peggy” Helsel, 81, a resident of Ridgeview Personal Care Home, Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday December 14, 2024 at UPMC-Presbyterian. She was born January 15, 1943, in Claysburg, daughter of the late Ralph and Ida (Tipton) Walter.

Surviving are 6 children Donnie and Mark Williams, Jackie Dively, Nancy Stone, Christina Bruder and Daniel Imler, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, 2 brothers Jimmy and Terry Walter and 2 sisters Janet Brown and Idie Walter. She was preceded in death by her son David Williams and brother Elwood Walter.

Peggy was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of her home.

Friends will be received on Friday December 20, 2024 from 4-6 P.M. at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Friday, at the funeral home, with Pastor James Neatrour officiating. Interment at Claysburg Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the funeral home.
