Marie A. Milliron

Marie A. Milliron, 98, of East Freedom, passed away Tuesday November 11, 2025, at home. She was born April 8, 1927, in Bridgeport, daughter of the late John and Sadie (Summers) Dolan. She married Robert C. Milliron on October 3, 1950, in Mt. Pleasant.

Surviving is a daughter Kristine Hennaman and husband Don, sons Timothy L. Milliron and wife Judy and Robert S. and wife Sherri, all of Altoona, 5 grandchildren Timothy, Jesse, Jake, Erin, and Ashley, 2 step grandchildren Cameron and Chelsea, and 8 great grandchildren Faith, Jacob, Mycah, Bella, Dominick, Payten, Cole, and Adrianna.  She was preceded in death by 11 siblings.

Marie was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Newry, and served on the Guild. She was a 1945 graduate of Hurst High School, Mt. Pleasant and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Pennsylvania State Police and the East Freedom Lioness Club.  

Marie was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday November 14, 2025, at St. Patrick’s Church, Newry. Interment at Alto-Reste Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to her church.
