Martin "Tom" Thomas Kelly Jr.

Martin Thomas “Tom” Kelly Jr., 75, of Claysburg, passed away Thursday May 6, 2021 at home. He was born March 8, 1946 in Bryn Mawr, son of the late Martin Sr. and Margaret (Henry) Kelly. He married Judith (Gearhart) May 7, 1976 in Chambersburg.

Surviving is his wife, a son Michael P. Kelly and wife Erin of Claysburg, 4 granddaughters and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Henry Trainor and a daughter Heather Musselman.

Tom was a 1964 graduate of Gettysburg High School and also attended college. He served as a Russian linguist in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. 

Tom retired as a car salesman from Auto Outlet in 2016. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and was a lifetime member of the NRA.

Tom donated his body to science and there will be no services.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Claysburg Area Public Library or the Bedford Humane Society.
