Mary Jane Wright

Mary Jane Wright, 78, of Altoona, formerly of Claysburg, passed away Sunday December 13, 2020 at UPMC-Altoona. She was born July 5, 1942 in Klahr, daughter of the late Howard and Nora (Walter) Musselman. She married Jay Larry Wright on August 29, 1963 in Winchester, VA. He passed away on October 10, 1996.

Surviving are a son Greg Wright and wife Kimberly of Altoona. She was preceded in death by four brothers John, Walter, Nevin and Silas Musselman.

Mary was a 1960 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School. She retired as an agent from Ketrow Insurance Agency in 2019. She was a member of First Church of Christ, Altoona and enjoyed her grand dogs “Baci” and “Notte”.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a memorial service will be held at her church at a later date.
