Norma Ruth Albright, 94, a resident of The Village at Morrisons Cove, passed away Monday October 10, 2022 at the home. She was born December 28, 1927 in Shamokin, daughter of the late Rev. Norman R. and Mildred V. (Derr) Wagner. She married Richard P. Albright on February 14, 1948 at Hick’s United Methodist Church, with her father Rev. Wagner officiating. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2013.
Surviving is a daughter Richanda Conley, a son Stephen Albright, granddaughters Tamara Lange (Donald) and Alexis Albright, great granddaughters Talia Mazzetti-Trauger (Jason) and Tarissa Mazzetti and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Mardell “Mert” and Joseph Wagner and son-in-law Ronald Conley.
Norma was a 1947 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and was employed at Puritan Sportswear for several years. Norma attended the Claysburg United Methodist Church and played the organ there for 25 years.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, camping, fishing, biking, reading, her grandchildren and singing. Norma dearly loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her church family.
Friends will be received from 10 A.M. until the noon funeral service on Saturday October 15, 2022 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg with Pastor Gary Blankley officiating. Interment at McIntire Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Claysburg United Methodist Church or Mending Hearts Animal Rescue.
