Patricia A. Swope

Patricia A. Swope, 74, a resident of the Village at Morrisons Cove, formerly of Claysburg, passed away Tuesday February 22, 2022 at the home. She was born March 14, 1947, in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Lloyd and Veloris (Knisely) Heldibridle. She married Dennis Swope, who preceded her in death on December 2, 2021.

Surviving is a daughter Maranda Lawton and husband Colton of Milan, 2 grandchildren Madeline and Isaac Lawton, a brother Terry Heldibridle and wife Bonnie of Claysburg and numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia was a 1965 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. She retired in 2008 as a manager at Barnes and Noble in Atlanta, GA and was previously a manager at T.J. Maxx and K-Mart.

Patricia enjoyed going to Casinos, crocheting, playing solitaire and her dogs.

Friends will be received from 4 P.M. until the 7:00 P.M. funeral service on Saturday February 26, 2022 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, with Pastor Ron Bashore officiating. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery.
