Ralph J. Blevins, 76, of Claysburg, passed away Monday August 19, 2024 at home. He was born November 22, 1947 in Pulaski, VA son of the late Avery and Hattie (Campbell) Blevins.
Surviving is his wife Sharon (Halow) Blevins of Claysburg, a son William Blevins and wife Nancy of Albuquerque, NM, daughters Andrea Primeau and husband Dave of Pine Grove and Aleka Ruggiero and husband Jason of Altoona, 7 grandchildren Sarah Kontor, Jeremy Blevins, Kahlan and Andrew Primeau, and Adriella, Benson, and Adelynn Ruggerio, 2 great grandchildren Mykena and Mykala Kontor, a brother William Blevins, sisters Kathleen Lewis and Evelyn Brau and a half sister Carol Wendt.
Ralph was a member of Altoona Bible Church. He graduated High School in Chicago and retired from the U.S. Army in 1991 after 25 years of service. He was then employed as a contract investigator for various government agencies, most recently ATF until 2018.
Ralph enjoyed watching movies in his spare time.
Friends will be received from 6-8 P.M. on Thursday August 22, 2024 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday August 23, 2024 at the funeral home, with Pastor Stewart McClelland officiating.
