Roger L. Musselman

Roger L. Musselman, 80, of Claysburg, passed away Sunday June 11, 2023 at home. He was born March 7, 1943 in Claysburg, son of the late Leslie and Mary (Musselman) Musselman. He married Jacqueline Y. Claar on September 9, 1967 and she preceded him in death on October 18, 2020.

Surviving is a daughter Sheryl K. Musselman. of Claysburg, a son R. Andrew Musselman of Duncansville, 5 grandchildren Chelsey, Devin, Alex, McKenzie, and Anthony, 6 great grandchildren, a brother Elwood Musselman, and a sister Janie M. Musselman. He was preceded in death by a daughter Deanna L. Musselman, an infant sister Alma Louise and sisters Judy Musselman and Iva J. Hershberger.

Roger was a member of the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren, where he served as a Deacon. He was a 1961 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School and served in the Army Reserves. He retired from dairy farming in 2007 and was previously employed at C&S Concrete Services and Cappy Lingenfelter Contracting.

Roger was a member of the Smokey Run Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed farming, horseback riding and hunting.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday June 14, 2023 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday June 15, 2023 at the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren with Rev. Mark Wyland officiating. Interment at Upper Claar Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to his church.
