Sally A. Lingenfelter, 78, a resident of The Village at Morrisons Cove, formerly of East Freedom, passed away Friday March 10, 2023 at the home. She was born April 15, 1944 East Freedom, daughter of the late William McKinley Sr. and Jennie (Feathers) Strayer.
She is survived by two daughters Cathy Musselman (Gary) and Barbara Lingenfelter both of East Freedom, a son David Lingenfelter (Christine) of Sproul, 6 grandchildren Katie and Kaleb, who were raised in their grandmother’s home, Danielle, Caidence, Daisey and Randi, 4 great grandchildren Hailey, Kacie, Reese, Aurora and one due in August. She was preceded in death by a daughter Sherry Thomas, a grandson Rodney Garrett and siblings Lena Finnegan, Violet, Daisy Brubaker, Edna Allison, William Jr., Jacob and Charles.
Sally was a 1962 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren and reading her Bible.
Friends will be received from 10 A.M. until the 11:00 A.M. funeral service on Monday March 13, 2023 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, with Pastor Gary Dull officiating. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery.
