Sandy L Ruby

Sandy L. Ruby, 57, of Claysburg passed away Tuesday November 2, 2021 at home. She was born October 22, 1964 in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late John and Vilma (Stevenson) Scott.

Surviving is her husband Mark Ruby, nine children Kenneth Ritchey, Jennie Lee Leonard (James), Angela Clayton (George), Mark W., Jonathan A., Hazel, Theo, Nichole and Garrett Ruby, eleven grandchildren and siblings James W. Scott, Cindy Scott, Ruth Moreland, Mary Stickel (Dennis) and Carla Holland and long time friends Thelma Claar, Tammy Bradford, and John and the late Carol Zerby. She was preceded in death by a brother Dale Scott.

Sandy attended Central High School, Martinsburg. She was employed as a clerk at Walmart, Central Bank, Claysburg, Sheetz, Bedford and Riverside, Duncansville.

Sandy enjoyed flowers, collecting knick knacks, elephants, butterflies, hummingbirds, buying and selling quality merchandise and loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Friends will be received at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg on Monday November 8, 2021, from 4:00 P.M. until the 6:00 P.M. memorial service, with Mr. Palmer Knisely officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
