Sheldon G. Wagner

Sheldon G. Wagner, 76, formerly of Claysburg, passed away Friday May 15, 2026, at the Presbyterian Home, Hollidaysburg, after a lengthy illness. He was born October 28, 1949, in Johnstown, son of the late Allen P. Wagner and Betty (Savage) Wagner.

Surviving is his daughter Heidi Feathers (Ken Snyder), granddaughter Erika Feathers, and brother Gregg Wagner (Janet) of Chambersburg.

Sheldon was a 1968 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. He retired from Shipping and Receiving at Veeder-Root after many years of service.

Sheldon was raised in the Lutheran Church.  He was long time member of the Claysburg Volunteer Fire Co, and the CACT theater group.  He enjoyed fishing, playing golf and softball and watching his granddaughter’s sporting activities.

Friends will be received from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday May 20, 2026, at the Harry E. Miller Funeral Home, 810 Bedford Street, Claysburg. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 P.M. with Rev. James Neatrour officiating.  Internment at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Sheldon’s memory may be given to the Claysburg Volunteer Fire Co. PO Box 292 Claysburg.
