Shirley A. Knisely, 86, of Claysburg passed away Friday May 13, 2022 at her home. She was the youngest child of nine, born May 31, 1935 at Mercy Hospital in Altoona to James Sherman Dodson and Minnie (Myers) Dodson. She married Clair R. Knisely on December 20, 1955 at the Broad Avenue Presbyterian Church in Altoona.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, two sons Greg (Diane) of Queen and Jay (Bonnie) of Bedford, two grandsons Kiel (Kellie) and Ethan, great granddaughter Mileena and caregiver Julie Knisely.
Shirley graduated from Greenfield-Kimmel High School in 1953. She was employed as a personal secretary to D. Emmert Brumbaugh at First National Bank, Claysburg. She retired 1n 1998 as Board Secretary and Assistant Treasurer of Central Bank.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
