Stacey J. Snowden

Stacey J. Snowden, 42, of Altoona, formerly of Bedford County, passed away Sunday July 30, 2023 at home. She was born December 22, 1980 in Windber.

Surviving is her mother and stepfather Jacqueline (Getz) and Rodney Snowden, daughters Izzabell and Gretchen Clark, Lisabeth Helsel and Virginya McIntosh, a grandson Jireayia Burks, siblings Jerome Snowden, Chastity Fraker (Daniel), Rose Pomeroy, Bridget Snowden, and Cora Tate, ½ siblings Sandy and Dawn Griffith and many nieces and nephews. Stacey was preceded in death by a son Teyerone Clark, life partners Larry Clark Jr. and Christopher Helsel, sister Daisy Snowden and grandmother Helen Getz.

Stacey attended Everett Christian Academy and Chestnut Ridge High School before receiving her GED. She was primarily a homemaker but was employed, during her lifetime, at Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Denny’s, Rebecca Personal Care Home, Captive Aire and Cove Shoe.

Stacey was an amazing woman who loved her family and friends and her God.

A Celebration of Stacey’s life will be held at a later date.
