Stephen C. Claar

Stephen C. Claar, 62, of Claysburg, passed away Wednesday October 19, 2022. He was born May 3, 1960 in Roaring Spring, son of Janet (Weyant) Claar and the late Robert C. Claar. He married Lynda Malloy on November 25, 1987 in Roaring Spring.

Surviving is his mother, his wife, a son Stephen R. Claar and companion Kayla Metz of Imler, a daughter Shannon Claar of Aiken, S.C., a granddaughter Bailey Metz, a sister Karla Claar of Claysburg and a brother Kent Claar of Homosassa Springs, FL.

Stephen was a 1978 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. He owned and operated Claar Trucking and enjoyed working on his trucks.

Friends will be received from 4 P.M. until the 7 P.M. memorial service on Monday October 24, 2022 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.
