Susanne P. Musselman

Susanne P. Musselman, 76, of Claysburg, passed away Friday March 1, 2024 at UPMC-Altoona. She was born February 10, 1948 in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late George B. and G. Aileen (Black) Patterson. She married Michael J. Musselman on September 20, 1967 in Cumberland, MD.

Surviving is her husband, three children Kelly Musselman, Debra Foor and husband Thomas and Michael Musselman Jr. and wife Suzanne, four grandchildren Nicholas Foor and wife Brooke, Andrew Foor, James and Alice Musselman, sister Gayla Patterson, two brothers Richard Patterson and companion Brenda and Drew Patterson and wife Julie, and Jim Parry, who was like a son.

Susanne was a 1966 graduate of Central High School. During her life, she was employed at the Claysburg Library, Kelly Leasing, and the Altoona Hospital Day Care Center.

Susanne was a member of the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren, where she served as Deaconess for many years.

She was an avid reader and served on the Board of Directors at the Claysburg Area Public Library and enjoyed crossword puzzles and board games and spending time with her family, especially the grandkids.

Friends will be received from 5-8 P.M on Monday March 4, 2024 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg and from noon until the 1:00 P.M. funeral service on Tuesday March 5, 2024 at the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren, with Pastor Mark Wyland officiating. Interment at Upper Claar Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Claysburg Area Public Library or the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren.
