Tammy L. Weyandt, 60, of Claysburg, passed away Monday December 30, 2024 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. She was born May 25, 1964, in Roaring Spring, daughter of Cloyd and Carol (Chappell) Weyandt. She married James E. Weyandt on June 12, 1982 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Claysburg.
Surviving are her parents, her husband, two children James Weyandt Jr. (Jennifer) and Lacie Smith (Will), six grandsons Ethan, Caleb, Jacob, Jonah, Owen and Sawyer, a sister Sheri Carson (James) and two brothers Cloyd Weyandt Jr. (Stephene) and Shawn Weyandt (Renea).
Tammy was a 1982 graduate of Emmanuel Baptist Christian School and was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday School teacher and helper with the Christian Soldiers Club.
Tammy was a homemaker and private care giver for seniors. She enjoyed going to yard sales, shopping at Goodwill, eating out, camping, and vacationing with family, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandsons.
Friends will be received from 2 P.M. until the 5 P.M. funeral service on Friday January 3, 2025 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Claysburg, with pastor Erik Lingenfelter officiating. Interment at Claysburg Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Emmanuel Baptist Christian School.
