Thomas V. Giffin Jr.

Thomas V. Giffin Jr., 61, of Martinsburg, passed away Monday June 10, 2024 at UPMC-Altoona, after a brief illness. He was born September 15, 1962 in Roaring Spring, son of Thomas V. Giffin Sr. and Bonnie (Coffman) Barber.

Surviving is his parents Thomas and Beverly Giffin of Roaring Spring and Bonnie Barber of Hollidaysburg, two children Thomas V. Giffin III and Shaylee Giffin, both of Bellwood, brothers Rick Giffin of Martinsburg, Jeff (Christie) Giffin of Riddlesburg, Dustin (Kim) Barber of Roaring Spring. sisters Artrina Rogers of Altoona, Lori (Mark) Lesmansky in South Carolina and Angel Miller of Martinsburg, three granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

Thomas was a 1980 graduate of Central High School. He retired as parts manager at Central Hydraulics, in 2020, and was previously employed at Cove Shoe, New Enterprise and did construction work.

Thomas was a member of the Martinsburg Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed football baseball, wrestling and NASCAR.
