Timothy “Tim” Houck Arrangement

Timothy S. “Tim” Houck, 58, of Altoona, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. He was born on March 9, 1968, in Altoona, son of the late Richard E. "R.E." Sr., and Marjorie J. (Jenkins) Houck.

 


Surviving is his son Scott Staszak of Tyrone, one grandson, Tim’s girlfriend Lynne Bowser, and siblings: Connie E. Rabuck of Altoona, Gail M. Brumbaugh of Muncy, Kim Lindenberger of Romney, WV, James F. Houck of Altoona, and Dale D. Houck of Berwick. He was preceded in death by brothers Richard E. Houck Jr. and Darrell L. Houck.

 


He was a member of the Vineyard Altoona Church. He was a truck driver for Red Diamond Trucking and previously drove for Swift Trucking and Zimmerman Trucking. 

 


Tim enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing guitar, having drinks and listening to music by the fire. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, girlfriend, and his fur pup “Duke”.

 


Tim will be forever Loved and missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.  

 


Friends will be received on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from Noon until the 2:00 P.M. funeral service at the Harry E. Miller Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 810 Bedford Street, Claysburg, with Pastor Derek Heilmann officiating. Private interment at Alto-Reste Park.
 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Ebensburg Animal Hospital 922 Rowena Dr., Ebensburg, PA 15931.
