Troy A. Black, 50, of Claysburg, passed away Thursday January 20, 2022 at UPMC-McGee. He was born July 2, 1971 in Roaring Spring, son of Jerry Black and the late Janet “Chick” (Feathers) Black.
Surviving is his father of Claysburg, a daughter McKenzi Black of Imler and two sisters Jill Black-Knisely of Queen and Pam Guyton of Claysburg.
Troy was a 1989 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. He was a self-employed truck driver and heavy equipment escort and was previously employed at J.H. Russell Inc.
Troy was a member of Smokey Run Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed farming, driving trucks, working on equipment, riding his side by side and spending time with his daughter.
Friends will be received from 2 P.M. until the 6:00 P.M. memorial service on Sunday January 23, 2022 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg with Pastor John Winesickle officiating.
