Virginia L. (Allison) Sager

Virginia L. (Allison) Sager, 95, of Duncansville, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, at home. She was born on February 12, 1931, in Duncansville, daughter of the late Orville E. and Iva B. (King) Allison. She married Richard L. Sager on May 4, 1956, and he passed away on July 2, 2014.

She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Sager of Duncansville, daughter-in-law Nancy Sager and a grandson, Jonathan Sager, both of Laurens, S.C. Virginia was preceded in death by a son Jeffery Sager on July 22, 2020. 

She was a 1949 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and graduated from the Zeth Business School. She was enlisted with the Naval Reserves from 1950 – 1954. 

She attended the Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church. She was primarily a homemaker. 

She enjoyed cooking and flowers and above all Virginia loved her relationship with her Lord and Savior. 

Friends will be received on Thursday May 28, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. until the 11:00 A.M. funeral service at the Harry E. Miller Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 810 Bedford Street, Claysburg, with Pastor Brant Leidy officiating. Followed by military honors by the Blair County Veterans Honor Guard. Interment will be made in Leamersville Riverview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church, or the Leamersville Grace Fellowship Church.
