Wayne R. Dively, 73, of Claysburg, passed away Thursday June 20, 2024 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. He was born October 26, 1950 in Claysburg, son of the late Leslie and Mary (Harr) Dively. He married Judy D. Walter on October 17, 1970 in Claysburg.
Surviving is his wife, two sons Troy Dively and wife Lisa and Phillip and wife Teresa, 4 grandchildren Stephanie Benton, Nicole, Samantha, and Garrett, 3 step grandchildren Melissa Shaw, Joyce, and Sierra Cottle, 2 great grandchildren Aubrey and Liam Benton and 2 step great grandchildren Eastyn and Leila Tewell. Also surviving are siblings George Dively, Vickie Smith, Randy Dively, and Judy Redinger.
Wayne attended the Lower Claar Church of the Brethren. He was a 1968 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School and retired in 2011, as a material handler, from Appvion, Roaring Spring, after 40 years of service.
Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, gardening, and riding his side by side.
Friends will be received from 3 P.M. until the 7:00 P.M. funeral service on Monday June 24, 2024 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg with Pastor John Winesickle officiating. Interment at Upper Claar Cemetery.
