William J. Kunsman

William J. Kunsman, 88, of East Freedom, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday January 23, 2025. He was born December 22, 1936, in East Freedom, son of the late Frank and Martha (Glass) Kunsman. On November 13, 1957, he married Faye Chamberlain in Hagerstown, MD.

Surviving is his wife, three children Lisa Benton and husband Frank Jr., Linda Aungst and husband James, and William Kunsman and wife Brenda, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister Joanne.

William was a member of the East Freedom Chapel. He was employed at R.L. Smith for 27 years before becoming a self-employed woodworker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

Friends will be received from 4:00 P.M. until the 7:00 P.M. funeral service on Monday January 27, 2025, at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, with David Harper officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
