William R. “Bill” McGregor, 59, of Roaring Spring passed away Thursday May 2, 2024 at home. He was born October 13, 1964 in Roaring Spring, son of the late Daniel R. Sr. and Maxine L. (Mauk) McGregor. He married Kim Black on November 13, 1999 in Martinsburg.
Surviving is his wife, four children Shanon McGregor, Skylar McGregor, Bryana McGregor and significant other Jaden Barnes, Alexxa McGregor and significant other Ryan Hostler, six grandchildren Mickael, Shayley, Audrina, DrayVin, Atticus and Rayleigh, brothers Michael, Daniel Jr. and David McGregor, and sisters Danise Donaldson, Nancy Martz and Bobbi Jo Brumbaugh. He was preceded in death by a brother Daniel H. McGregor.
Bill was a 1982 graduate of Hayfield High School in Virginia and he retired from Spring Cove Containers. He was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church.
Bill served as Commander of Sons, Roaring Spring Murray-Appleman American Legion Post 147. He enjoyed dirt track racing, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses.
